Itemized private jet cost estimator
Build a charter price the way an operator does: flight time at the category’s hourly range, then positioning, daily minimums, crew overnights, tax and fees. You get a low and a high total, and one tap turns it into a request for the exact figure.

Flight time is your hours in the air, both ways for a round trip, multiplied by the low and high ends of the category’s estimated hourly range.
Positioning is the time for the aircraft to reach your departure airport and, at the end of the trip, to return to its base. It is billed at the same hourly rate.
Return positioning applies to one-way trips. Some operators sell the empty flight home as an empty leg and charge you nothing for it; others bill it. The low total assumes the first case and the high total the second, which is why one-way ranges are wide.
Daily minimums top up any flying day below the operator’s minimum, one hour in the low case and two in the high. On longer stays the high case also includes minimums for days on the ground, capped at the cost of flying the aircraft home and back.
Crew overnights cover hotel and meals for the crew, about $600–1,000 a night for a light aircraft and up to $1,000–2,000 for a large cabin with a flight attendant. De-icing is an allowance per departure, charged only when conditions require it. Catering is an allowance of $40–150 per passenger per leg.
Federal excise tax of 7.5% is applied to everything except segment fees on domestic trips. Segment fees are about $5 per passenger per leg. International trips carry their own taxes and fees, which appear on your quote.
Airport, landing and handling fees vary too much to model and are shown on every quote. For the real figure, request a quote.
